Call Costs

Call Costs (Within your own Country - Local and Long Distance)
Make sure when entering rates you always use the LOWEST currency value (e.g. cents not dollars, pence not pounds)
If you want a rate of 40 cents per minute then enter 40 in the rate box not 0.40.
Always enter the rate including any taxes (e.g. VAT, GST).

Click on the Help button within the section of PABXSoft you are in for more detail.
If in doubt click on the Wizard to guide you through changing call rates.

Call Costs (International)
Enter the rate in the HIGHEST currency value (e.g. dollars not cents, pounds not pence). The rate you enter per minute will be divided by 60 automatically (per second billing).

Table 1 and Table 2
Unless you are using a very old version of PABXSoft you will see that there are two tables (Table 1 and Table 2).
In almost all cases you should only use Table 1. Table 2 is only used for our Hotel/Motel function and for the Re-Cost and Cost Comparison reports (Line Menu of Reports).

General Tab
Check all the boxes except Use Peak/Off Peak (unless your business operates into the night and uses off-peak charging from your carrier)

Billing Table
In most cases you can totally ignore this. Some carriers in some countries provide packaged deals where there are call 'caps' and free call-time. Click on the help button in this section of PABXSoft if you want more information.
