We recommend that you use this version of Call Collector as it will continue to operate irrespective of user log in / out events. It will work even if no-one is logged in.
You must have Administrator rights to install and run services.
Installation
In Version 8 of PABXSoft you will have access to both the regular (EXE) Call Collector and the Windows Service version.
If you are an existing user pre-Version 8 then please use the Contact Form opposite to enquire about the price of an upgrade to Version 8. (It's really not much !!).
With all PABXSoft programs shut down, click on Start>All Programs>PABXSoft>Call Collector-Windows Service.
Click on Install and wait about 10 seconds. Click Start and wait a few seconds. Click on the Refresh button to confirm the Service is running. Click on Show. If there are any records in the database already the last 100 will be displayed.
Make some calls and they should appear at the top of the screen within 5 seconds of the call terminating.
Use the Contact Form opposite if you are can not see new calls appearing.
If calls are appearing then click the Close button and then again on the blue setup screen.
Note:
When running as a Windows Service there is no icon in the System Tray. (Where your data and time is, bottom right corner of the screen).
